About MarofiDesign
About marofi:" I started designing as a 13-year-old boy when my mother brought home a version of photoshop elements. At that time I just played with the preset effects and filters.
Later, I got involved more and more into graphics when I played online with friends where we needed clanlogos, webpages or other representing graphics. Nowadays, when I look at those old pictures I often laugh about them but some of them are quiet nice. A lot of the old pictures can be found in the gallery. In spring 2007 I got more serious about designing. Starting my website marofidesign with some poor attempts on free webspace servers. I worked on it for a long time till I learned enough about the simpler webdesigning techniques to create my website. You can see the latest design of the old homepage (on the free server) at the "Links"-page. At that time, I began creating graphics even though they were mostly randomly created with photoshop filters. Practising out what the programm was capable of, it was propably a very good learning time for me. Then in 2008 everything became more "professional" (if I'm allowed to call it that way). I started photoshopping with photographs, manipulating photos, montaging and all those things. Since then I always tried to improve my skills in graphic design, read books, watched tutorials and even played a little with blender3d, a free 3D-design programm. My more "up-to-date" graphics can be found in the "photo-manipulation" section in the gallery. In the meantime I worked on the school's website, was the "head-designer" for a pupils-company, where we import wire-art from Kongo to sell it here for social purposes, sending all the money back to the crafters in the Kongo. I also did an internship at a medical-company where I helped with the website. Another internship was at the ZDF (a big public Tv network in Germany) and I worked there with designers and editors. At the moment I'm in my last year at school (13th grade) and am looking forward to study mediadesign afterwards."
